THAT BAD LADDER

What is it about hard work that gives it such a ferocious look that at the sight of it,people flee without knowing it is a prerequisite to the introduction of a good life we all want. I don't know the relationship between hard work and short-lived happiness that make them complement each other so well . I've been around fairly long enough to know hard work breaks no bones.
Of course we all have that tendency to be easily distracted ,YES!!! there is truth to that ; A rolling stone gathers no moss but i'm certainly intrigued by the idea of been Evans of all trades, its a distraction I've had to battle for some time now, looks like i'm winning.
The will to choose is one of those very crucial mandate humanity has been blessed with from time immemorial. Making choices can be very difficult and life generally looks easier without choices. However, a life devoid of choices would be equal to the life of a slave( a slave makes no choice but rather submissive to the dictate of their masters), and i don't think that's what anybody would wish for their life.
Whether you know it or not, the choices we make everyday programs our life towards a certain direction ,such is it's importance. This mandate also comes with it another enterprise known as freewill, now here is the problem ; you develop a routine with your freewill and this routine becomes your tradition. Its a mighty problem because traditions are the prison in which change is locked. This should explain why its difficult for anybody to change from their destructive ways even as they know the nature of their ways ; what you give yourself to gives itself back to you.
Isn't life an attempt to answer the question " was your existence a success?".I mean regardless how you lived  it, there is always the question.
It is unheard of within my circles that anyone been placed with the option of hard and easy would go for the former, absolutely unheard of. But hey, we live in a world which frowns on those folks who decide to that ladder to quick riches whilst at the same time seeking for promotion without process. I know it with a reasonable amount of cock sureness that no one is born running at a go, it begins with you crawling , then you walk after which you are matured enough to run. Life as a whole is a process ,everything you would ever go through will be in acceptance with that.
I want to make a very important statement ; Humans generally are a package, comprised of the good and bad. They will come into your life with their strengths and weaknesses, make sure the statement does not miss any bit of your attention.
Socrates was certainly not lacking clarity of thought when he spoke such words as "the non examined life is not worth living".WOW!!!. Skill sets , plans , values and life in generally need a certain amount of assessment , this should be a trait in the lives of all who want to climb that good ladder. Now what happens with the non examined apart from not worth living is , it looses sight of the ever changing times thus exposing it to the ever widening web of failure.
Life is made up of things that are constantly calling for our attention and the world itself throws at us words with which we need committed eyes to see and read.
We live our present life based on our vision of our future; you will owe it yourself a conscious and intentional living if you believe you have a great future and naturally, its that kind of assurance of a great future that makes you resilient through the inevitable hard times in life. they will surely hit you baby but you see, process gives you longevity at the top.(a fitness issue most successful people struggle in dealing with).
You would be asking yourself a very good if you were wondering " Do nations also climb that bad ladder?". And guess what,YES, they do and this is when it becomes scary thought but yes , nation do climb that bad ladder and my country (GHANA) has been a very good climber of that bad ladder. And you know, its an issue my ink had been wanting to bleed on, it will do so some time later.
I live in a country that is seemingly beginning to believe that it is a virtue to be rich in possession and poor in people , well it looks to me like an age which is consumed by money madness. People are considered no less than the dust of the earth unless they can display a fat bank account.
Another chief presence in the lives of climbers of that bad ladder is the inability to aim above above mediocrity. When you have this, you find out you have weak desires and weak desires bring weak results , just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.
Many of us have been blessed with so many ideas about different things or one particular thing. However, for some very strange reasons, many of us are unable to put our theories into practicals.Greatness just doesn't pop-up because you've bee blessed with knowledge,NO!!!. Every invention or achievement that was ever witnessed or recorded in the sands of time begun with a train of thought put into action and until you come to the realization that thought are things and their modus operandi is the world itself , there is no hope of you ever getting down that bad ladder.
Hopefully, this piece has washed you with the realization of knowing what ladder you've been climbing . If it is the good ladder, there is limit to you but if it is the opposite, completely let go of those factors responsible for that before they lead and tie you to the treadmill of failure.
